How to Backdate Blog Posts on blogger.com

Blogger.com users; if you have ever forgotten to post a blog entry on a specific day and you would like to change the date on your blog post, then here are some useful tips for you. These instructions may also be used to change the date on an old post.

Log onto your blogger.com account through either google.com or through your customer URL, (ie: ehowblog.blogspot.com.) Whether this is a new post or an old post, the directions will be the same.  For older blog posts, browse to the post and click the "quick edit" icon to enter the editing screen. (It looks like a pencil) If you are starting a new post, just click the "new post" button from your dashboard screen. Both will take you to the same screen.

Look at the bottom of the editing window, just to the left of the "Labels for this post" area. There is an arrow and a link that says "Post Options." Click this link.  Below the window, a box will expand that has a radio button to allow or disallow reader comments. Look to the right of this and you will see the post date and time. Change these to your liking and when you're finished; press the "publish post" button.  Browse to your updated blog post and you should find that the date and time has now been changed.
